		<description>Agreed.  I was just thinking about college the other day, and how we did everything without email (circa 1990-1994).  My friend and I were wondering how we got such great participation at the events that we organized.  And it was simple...we saw people on campus and reminded them, sent notes via campus mail and saw folks at the monthly meetings.
Granted, that would be harder in a city of 90,000 vs. a small town college of 1,500, but still....</description>
